I had a little bit of time on my hands so I decided to explore the new MTR stations before dinner. (I haven't been back in Hong Kong for a few years so these stations are still new to me). I started at Kennedy Town and decided to stop at each of the new stations to take some shots.
Kennedy Town is at the end of the Island Line and easily one of the bigger stations area wise. The apple sculpture inside the station seems a little odd but nevertheless created a different ambience in the usually busy subway station.
HKU station was fun to shoot at, partly because of its lesser amount of people (when I was there) and I must admit the green largely appealed to me. No sculpture at this station and it is a significantly smaller station than Kennedy Town.
Sai Ying Pun was more or less like the HKU station. Nothing spectacular so not really worth the look if you don't have time.
