Bake Code has almost been open for a year and I finally gave it a try this weekend. It's known as the Asian European bakery that specializes in molten filled croissants and they also offer select Chatime drinks at their flagship store near Yonge and Sheppard.
I was really looking forward to their iced sea salt americano but sadly, they said they ran out of sea salt that day so I had to settle for a normal iced americano instead (it was just okay). We also tried their cheese tart and matcha molten croissant.
The cheese tart wasn't bad however, it would've been even better if they had heated it up for us. The tart was made short bread style so it was a little hard. The croissant was pretty good too - I found it to be just the right sweetness but I would've preferred a stronger matcha flavour. Again, would've tasted better if it was fresh out of the oven of it they had heated it up for us. Just a heads up though if you're ordering the molten croissants: make sure you enjoy the creme filling! Some people find it disgusting (aka my friend) so make sure you know what you're getting yourself into!
